ABSTRACT The emergence of communication networks and the continued advancement of technology is allowing all users we are increasingly dependent on them, that because this technology allows for various activities to facilitate our work. But while have great benefits, they also bring great dangers, at the time of the exchange of information. In this paper we analyzed the security and vulnerabilities of office documents, in the management of not only information but also institutional staff and the need to be protected by creating various mechanisms to ensure the confidentiality and authenticity of electronic documents, and for that we investigated different encryption models.
