A series of reflections on the Medicine Wheel concept is introduced, as present in indigenous communities of the United States and southern Canada. The notion of circle is expressed, according to the understanding of some aboriginal cultures. A series of possible interrelations are established with oral practices registered in communal houses of knowledge in the Colombian and Peruvian Amazonia. Finally, a proposal is made to consider the circular architecture as a way to symbolically represent the space of an indigenous library.
