Abstract The urban landscape of the city of La Paz houses in its territory history, identity, ecosystems, and native plant and animals species that develop in their natural habitat. The preservation, care and protection of these areas is based on their recognition by their inhabitants and visitors, understanding the territory as a legacy of our ancestors, which in many cases preserves the natural and cultural heritage to a different extent. This is the case of the Llojeta rock formations located in the urban area of the city of La Paz, monumental natural structures modeled over time by environmental elements, and currently suffering from processes of appropriation and urban growth, accompanied by a migration of the population from the rural area and the city downtown to peripheral areas and to the south of the city. This article is the result of the final project of Master in Landscape, Heritage and Territorial Studies, with the work entitled Revaluation of the unique geomorphological landscape of "Llojeta"
