In Bolivia there are almost 14 thousand people shut in in more than 50 jails of the penitentiary system. Most of these prisioners survives precariously, not only by the isolation, the lack of medical attention and cruel life conditions where the sobrepopulation causes lack of health attention are the rule. One of the worse problems of the prisons is that they lives lengthy without a sentence, at the mercy of the bureaucracy and the corruption that corrodes justice. The history of Bicho shows the reality of many young people in Bolivia, without education nor resources, being victims of the "fight against the crime", that often instead of attacking the causes of the poverty, represses to the poor men without giving possibilities them of social reintegration.
